Within this film, the set design echoes the imagery within paradise lost, illustrator by Gustave Dore painter sculpture and artists, both narratives follow a hyper-fantasy setting. With that in mind throughout the film, the plots and sets felt very mystical which reflects the illustrations that inspired the film. In many ways the film set style reminds me of Orientalism movement for the colour pallet reflects many of the orientalism style paintings and the camera shots and compositions reflect the compositions woven into Gustav Dore's body of work .
